Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada issued 271 invitations to apply for permanent residence on June 24, 2026. This third Express Entry draw for June targeted the Physicians with Canadian Work Experience category with a minimum score of 223.

When more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. Invitations to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Program may be issued through this round.

Eligible foreign nationals in this grouping have their expression of interest in the Express Entry pool. The Express Entry Instructions were initially published in the Canada Gazette on December 1, 2014.

Eligible NOC Codes and Work Experience Requirements

An eligible foreign national becomes a member of this specific category if they meet strict employment requirements. Within the previous three years, they must have acquired in Canada at least one year of full-time work experience. The equivalent in part-time work is also acceptable.

During that period of work experience, the candidate must have performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation. These actions are set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification. They must also have performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation, including all of the essential duties.

A period of unauthorized work in Canada is not to be included in the calculation of this work experience period. The qualifying work experience must fall under the following National Occupational Classification unit group codes:
